　　1、Did George getanything for his fifty pence？ What？

　　Children always appreciate small gifts ofmoney.

　　= Children always appreciate pocket money assmall gifts.孩子们总是喜欢得到些零花钱

　　2、Mum or dad， of course， provide a regular supply ofpocket money， but uncles and aunts are always a sourceof extra income.

　　provide sth for sb / provide sb with sth 为某人提供某物
